HDF, united to compete

HDF’s headquarters are based in Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona), and our logistics warehouse is located in Castellbisbal. We are the reference group in the fields of air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration. We have 17 associates, 40 points of sale spread throughout the territory, (21 with self-service) and more than 400 employees.

We believe our prestige and success is based on the quality we strive to offer on every level. The quality of our approved suppliers, the solid associated companies we work with, and the philosophy of service we offer to our associates.

In this sense, our authorized suppliers know that HDF group brings commitment and stable business, meeting their expectations year after year, and providing confidence to the manufacturer.

For us, homologation is commitment, and commitment, results.

On the other hand, this commitment translates into clear benefits and profitability for our associates.

We work with economies of scale and volume is essential, but above all we are interested in the quality of our associates, this is how we have achieved a very large market share in the air conditioning and ventilation segments.

Current scenario and strategy

At HDF, we are aware of the big changes that have occurred in the air conditioning and ventilation market in recent times. High volume of manufacturers, the appearance of professional distributors with vertical structures and a broad national presence, the development of online commerce and the action of Category Killers in certain segments of our business, they all represent a strong challenge for regional distribution.

The only way to compete in the current scenario is by joining forces. HDF’s view of associationism has two main lines: increasing the competitiveness and profitability of our associates, and working with a 360° philosophy of service.

Our Brands

Within our strategy of continuous improvement and contribution of actual value to our associated companies, we are also focused on the development own two brands, EKOKAI in air conditioning, and Quntec in ventilation.

In both brands we have achieved a very relevant level of market share. They give us our own identity, exclusivity and differentiation from our competitors, as well as profitability and competitiveness in a market that increasingly adjusts its margins. All this while maintaining a very high quality standard.

Our goal is to position ourselves as a global solutions provider, bringing our associates closer to their daily objectives, and helping them to compete steadily in the market.

We provide support in every phase of a project, giving advice in the beginning, going trough training, budgeting, all the way to sales and after-sales phase.
